Education Cannot Wait’s Multi-Year Resilience Programme (MYRP) is being implemented through an international consortium led by Plan International Bangladesh (PIB) along with the consortium partner International Rescue Committee (IRC). The program will engage 18050 parents/caregivers through parenting education and around 14300 community members, specifically women and persons with disability groups, through awareness raising and community mobilization (1083 Learning Facility Management Committee member and 14300 community members will be reached through different awareness session and community engagement activities) and 351 teachers, with special focus on female teachers, will be reached through building their capacity of delivering quality inclusive education specific to the needs of the children and adolescents. Prottyashi is contributing to the achievement that includes: 1) improving access to learning opportunities in a safe and inclusive environment for 14100 boys and girls aged 3-18 years in both host and camp communities, 5200 children aged 3-5 years old will receive quality support on early childhood development in camps, and 5900 children aged 4-6 years will access safe-inclusive ECD learning and school readiness in the host community, 2) improving quality of learning of boys and girls through providing capacity development support for on different teaching methods includes SBK module, Myanmar Curriculum, functional literacy and numeracy, MHPSS, child safeguarding, gender-responsive pedagogy and inclusive education models and teachers from host community secondary schools will receive gender responsive pedagogy and SEL training as a piloting basis to create a gender-responsive classroom environment and develop learners SEL skill. 3) System strengthening to improve quality, equitable, safe and inclusive learning environment by providing training for 41 government officials, and 40 Management level staff of the Education sector partners on the use of the crisis and gender sensitive education planning, management and implementation guidance.
